How long does the OTG Pouch work?
2 year shelf life unopened. Once opened lasts for 416 Cups / 26 Gallons / 98L per pouch.
Why does remineralized alkaline water taste different?
High alkaline ionized & remineralized water generally tastes silky & smooth, much more clean and pure than standard potable water. But for some there may also be a different taste which takes some getting used to. This is due to the high pH level and minerals and trace elements present in our filtered water. When first starting to consume remineralized alkaline water, it may trigger a detox effect in the body, hence the odd taste. Simply start slowly by drinking a cup a day, then 2 cups a day, working your way up to full consumption as the taste improves.
Why does filtered Invigorated Water show a high TDS?
There is a general misconception related to TDS, where many have been told that 0 TDS is what is desirable and healthy. This is incorrect in our opinion. O TDS may be stripped of any bad chemicals, but it is also stripped of all the good stuff, like natural minerals and trace elements. A TDS of 50 PPM and over is normal and simply shows the presence of healthy minerals and trace elements.
Why did I get a non-Alkaline test result?
Litmus test strips may give inaccurate, false readings, as they are only meant to test the pH of your saliva and urine.
We recommend using pH PERFECT, our pH test liquid containing Phenol Red, or a digital pH test meter, in order to get an accurate reading.
A few other things that may affect the testing:
Please make sure you have prepared the filter properly, according to the instructions on page 5, giving it enough time to soak.
Please test your water quality before using your new product. The filters, in general, will raise the pH levels 0.5 to 2 levels, so if your water quality is low on the pH scale, then it may not be possible to be brought up to an alkaline level, but it will get it closer.
If you are still not getting an alkaline reading, please test the water again after 30 minutes, as the pH will continue going up the longer water stays in contact with the filter.
